It was a cold, wet and windy day… even I questioned getting on my bike fully clothed! I literally popped to the starting point expecting a few hard core supporters… and it was a pretty impressive turnout.. so I could not resist jumping on my bike and following them round the streets of Brighton. I love this event and the people on the street love it to…I heard sunday morning shoppers comment " I love Brighton"….
The Naked Bike ride is a campaign supporting the resistance to car and oil dependency. Participants are encouraged to cast off their clothes and celebrate body power on a bike – the low carbon, zero pollution, affordable solution for urban transport. Dress code: "as bare as you dare".
